Looks like portrait mode is working.

1. Both the dash and dock widget need to be resized. If you open each widget and reduce the width size that should fix that problem.
I reduced the dock widget width to 480 and left the dash as it is, but you can reduce the dash widget width slighty if you want.

2. What are you trying to uninstall?

3. I don't have backup menu installed, so I cant help you there.

4. Does your phone keep rebooting and won't startup?

hi yes it keeps rebooting and it wont turn on. it starts up to the nokia logo and turns back off.



this is what happened:
1. tried to uninstall hildon-desktop through app manager, but didnt work.
2. installed backupmenu from the app manager.
3. uninstalled hildon-desktop through xterm.
4. turned the phone off.
5. tried to turn it back on, but it wont.

it keeps rebooting with closed keyboard and it brings bootmenu when keyboard is open and then turns back off no matter which option i select.

might have to flash the phone.

This is the guide I used. Read everything first.

These are the 3 files you will need to get from the webpage.
a) maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2.exe
b) RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin
c) RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

Then once you have done that and you're phone is working, there is a nokia update, get that thru the app manager, then goto maemo.org and find and install CSSU Stable version.

Any further questions just message me as this is a differen't topic.

so there is no way anyone can fix the yahooweather text. even the person who created it.

I far as I know yahoo weather is not working. Did you flash your phone?

hi yes i have got it flashed from the nokia centre and now it is working.

Cool. Let me know when you get the HTC Sense Theme up and running.

Just curious if anyone is still using the Sensible Theme as one their desktop screens? If so, post a picture. Here is how mine currently looks.
