oops...I just copy pasted your commands...It was wrong...

What you need to do as root is:

mkdir -p /var/lib/apt/lists/
touch /var/lib/apt/lists/lock

Ok, I did this, rebooted and now went for apt-get update command. New error message tells me

E: list directory /var/lib/apt/lists/partial missing

so now do as root in terminal:

mkdir -p /var/lib/apt/lists/partial

I did use that partial command and used

"apt-get update"

after. Seems I shouldnt have used that update command? Now most of my applications are broken, being shown with a red "!" in the app launcher. When I click on them, I'm told to reinstall them. Any way to fix this? Or do I need to flash my device now? =/

What's your ouput for apt-get update? Can you post it here?

Well don't fret we'll fix it without a re-flash...Just be abit quicker in your posts So that we fix it before I drop

sorry, just came home from work.

I just did this apt-get update command again and - hurra - everything is working fine. Apps are back which previously didnt work and FINALLY I can install/uninstall again..

You sir, are my personal hero for today, thanks a lot

I have the problem about " dependencies installation packages" but I can't resolve it.....

generation of the tree of dipendencies
read information about the state...done
0 update, 0 installed , 0 to remove, 6 not update

I'm sorry fo my bad english.....but I hope that you can understand
