Yeah! Paper between the battery and the body can work technically but i got a permanent solution! u Just need a pen with a spring and a glue! after a long time my n900 is on its legs again !! JUST HAVE A LOOK AT http://www.jabawok.net/?p=14 ... and try it,,, It WORKED for me!

my phone won't finish flashing, i think at the end after kennel or something it says CMT flashing failed or flashing failed can't really see because it closes the cmd soon after, please help me... please
WOW! very nice!
I had the "Al telephony functions"-problem. So I opened my phone (not the 1st time) lifted up the contact-pins to the GSM anthena, but problem persisted...Then re-flashed, but had the CMT failure...I did the "pressure-your phone while ereasing and programming CMT" and the flashing process worked! So, I took your advide and did the following:

. It was a bit scary to take out the aluminium shield for the 1st time!! But now my N900 doesn't lose the THelephony functions so I'm really satisfied
