There is a much more easy way
Let's pretend, you wanna give Lisas number to Bart...
- Create new SMS
- As reciever add Lisa
- Copy the Name "Lisa"
- replace Lisa by Bart
- Type what you want, and when you paste, Lisas Number is pasted

I even had done this before, but then forgot in a rush
Still simple text-insert of a number from contants would be much better. I can't figure out why modern phones haven't such a feature.
