Working on getting it to control my toaster since it is slowly taking over every task my 20 other incompatible devices used to do individually. Could someone create an app to control my car remotely.

Yes, Maybe this whole thread should go there.

I am listening to NPR and browsing now. I have started using SCID to go through
Alekhine's My Best Games of Chess 1908-1923.

I find the N800 valuable to keep a copy of technical docs while I fiddle with other computers.

Streaming music and watching porn or flash ads on news seem to be the favorite uses of my 800. I just got a BT keyboard so I am going to try to it for more basic document and spreadsheet computing. Still missing some PIM stuff..

I use mine as a home automation controller/front end. Controls my alarm panel, lighting (insteon devices), thermostat, and of course mythTV boxes. Also fantastic as a SIP phone (OS 2008 SIP is AMAZING... sound quality is better than my Cisco business sets!), IM (thank you RTCOMM update) and media player. I also use it to control my Jeep. (Well, technically it's just controlling the openWRT mp3 player in the Jeep, but there's nothing quite as cool as pulling out your N800, connecting to a wifi AP named "Jeep" and using it to control the tunes and setup playlists/etc).

Also just picked up one of those blue tooth laser keyboards, so I'm hoping that with the upcomming new email client I'll get some better email use out of it.
