Whats in that file that led u to believe that it'd fix things?

I added stuff to be able to run KDE commands from the command line. This will remove the paths to executables I compiled, so if it cant find the problem, it cant create one.
Anyway, I can fix the problem with the KDE paths in a script to run when Konsole starts in a future update.
For now, do that and you get your fonts back

How to fix, I need some more confirmations please let me know if this fixes you, please reboot and start KDE a few times to verify.
open xterm
sudo su -
mv /etc/profile /etc/profile-kde
mv /etc/profile-orig /etc/profile
reboot, font problems fixed right?

Yes you can, also here is original (sorry didn't think about boot from sd)
# /etc/profile: system-wide .profile file for the Bourne sh ell (sh(1))
# and Bourne compatible shells (bash(1), ksh(1), ash(1), .. .).
. /etc/ptmalloc.conf
export PATH="/usr/bin:/bin"
umask 022
source /etc/osso-af-init/af-defines.sh
