As the latest version of fahrplan for the N900 stopped working with Deutsche Bahn I made a patch to make the application show the details page again. I although tried to install the new version 2 of fahrplan on N900, but I still have problems with the GUI. It does only show the starting station.

As I'm not allowed to submit my patch to repository, I provide my patched version here.

If you want to compile yourself, here the patch.

The detail view is not perfect right now, e.g. it does not show the departure and arrival times for buses because there is no track info for those. But at least it shows something.

(But does not show all necessary info about the time as you said)

Here is my next version of fahrplan for N900. Detailview seems to work now for more cases and the export of ICAL data works again. For now I call this version 0.0.29 patchlevel 2 as you can see in the about dialog.

If you want to compile yourself, here is the patch. Right now there is no installation package for this version.

Of cause there is no warranty for the correctness of fahrplan. Especially if you miss yout train, don't blame me. The mobile db website seemed to be changed a lot and I'm not so familar with regular expresseion and xml-parsing. So probably this won't be the last version, e.g. there are still problems in parsing the delays.

Installation:

1. Download fahrplan to you N900
2. chmod +x fahrplan
3. sudo mv fahrplan /usr/bin

I didn't notice any relevant problems since I installed your version 0.0.29 patchlevel 2. To be honest - i didn't notice any kind of problem

Version 2.0.12 for Harmattan is now available in the store.

I just noticed one minor quirk:

- select sbb.ch backend
- do any query
- you'll get a result comprising a period of time, to explain the problem lets assume the results cover the time 18:00 - 19:00
- tapping "later" will give you the results 19:00 - 20:00 , so far so good.
- then tapping "earlier" will not go back to 18:00 - 19:00 but will show 17:00 - 18:00
- then tapping "later" will jump to 20:00 - 21:00 and not to 18:00 - 19:00
- and so on

It would be nice if the moving in time would be sequential.

Just noticed something else with version 2.0.12 for Harmattan:

- There is an arrival/departure selector within the time selector.
- There is a switch to use the actual time/date for your query.
- The switch is labeled up to date departures (aktuelle abfahrten)
- Switch the arrival/departure selector on departure
- The switch to use the actual time/date for your query is still labeled departures

also on the page which shows departures/arrivals:

- as long as the use actual time/date switch is on, only departures can be searched, even if the arrivals/departures selector is set to arrivals (the search button is labeled accordingly).
- the pare with timetable query seems to work correctly in comparison.

i get the message "Can't install - Application already installed" when trying to update via store and application manager don't show any update.
when looking at the app it shows i have 2.0.9 installed.

@snooky you can uninstall and then install the app (not nice but a way to do it )

had the same problem. Also with meecast.
Update didn't work, had to un- and reinstall the apps.
As always ,store sucks like many times.
