So...
The new Asha 501 and the re-designed S40/Asha platform looks really good. I'll at least bother to test it in a shop.
If NOKIA did away with the front button, made the screen take up the whole front face and improved the camera I'd buy one of these.
Hopefully they've got one in the pipeline that's just that one step up from this.

Nokia is far from Dead. They are still selling lots of mobile phones, just not so many smartphones.

Number of units in a year from Q1 to Q1: down ~20 million from 83 to 63. Asha included.
They're losing even in the low end market. Nokia is an antibrand by now.
