Does anyone know if we'll be facing some aegis-like "security" layer on jolla's phones?

i don't think so... replacable battery and micro sd seems to point more to N900 direction.

Malaysia support should come soon, since a lot of n9's were sold here :-)

Some interesting details that I haven't seen before in this video:

http://www.hs.fi/videot/N%C3%A4in+to...v1305680047144

In the beginning (around 15 seconds mark) we can see "Jolla store". After that you can see there Stefano's comment "This is the best cloud storage app I've seen". Not sure what's the context there, but it could mean Jolla has their own cloud storage built-in.

The device is huge. Even bigger then BB Z10 while having a smaller screen. Why such big bezel?
The only other phone with this big bezels top and bottom is iPhone. And only because they have that huge button there and they want the top and bottom to be symmetric.

The bezel is a fail IMHO. They could have made the phone N9 size.

Edit: spelling

have to agree on that
maybe a price to pay for not being in "control" of their own manufacturing?

EDIT: on the other hand, what we saw today (and is shown in all the videos & pictures) may just be... a proof of concept (namely for the other half)
maybe the final product will be (much) smaller

would also with a stretch of the imagination allow to connect a hardware keyboard instead of a back cover.

Well, you need to refresh your knowledge about NFC tags
In reality you can detect&interact with multiple tags present at the same location. There's a binary tree search&identify scheme for tag addressing that takes care of the low level data transfer.

What this means; having one tag permanently attached to your phone does not in any way interfere using other tags. It's all just how you implement the uppermost SW layer.

that big a55 bezel just kills me. this looks so incredible cheap and ugly. motorola razr i fits a 4.3" display in a shell that is just as big as the n9! this beast is as big as the galaxy s4 with lower screen size. i'm disappointed so far. i wished a bezelles device, and i get the exact opposite

i rly like the sailfish os and i hope for a stable port for the n9
