Wow! So NOW you admit that they were losing their battle in mobile devices and that the OS was flailing? For once, I agree on everything you just said above. It's nice to see you coming around to reality.

It takes a LOT of effort to go from #1 cellphone maker all the way to the last place! It was a VERY fast race to the bottom! He's got Microsoft written ALL over him! GO GET HIM, MICROSOFT! This is DEFINITELY your boy!

According to both Yahoo and Google finance charts, there were dividends but no stock splits. (Why would they stock-split during those periods??? hahahah)

If you actually look at Nokia stocks they have been sliding downwards since 2008, and continued to slide under Elop, leveling off with Lumias. Which again supports that pre-Elop Nokia screwed things soo bad that Elop had little chance. Board new this and they planned to get rid off it from day one. I am optimistic for Lumias under MS. They will get more resources and love than at Nokia.

With this statement I have to agree. MS will use lot of effort to promote the WP platform and there will be new Lumia models, propably at an attractive price point.

However that will not make the devices any more attractive to me.

Do you think Microsoft will be able to compete effectively within all the architectual limitations that have held back Windows Phone as it has for all these years already? (ie. it's limited to Qualcom processors, limited to certain specifications, etc.). Do you think maybe they'll start to break out of those limitations now that they also run a hardware division now? I mean.. they already had a hardware division before with the Danger Inc. aquisition and they fumbled that completed and miserably--will they do that again this time around or do you think they've learned from that experience, based on what you've seen lately?

Hey come on, they are Microsoft, the laughing stock of the industry
What I meant, yes of course they will be cranking money to the machine, and making cheap WP devices on hopes of getting a slice from the handset markets.

But they are Microsoft, I mean I had no intrest to Lumia devices when they were Nokia and it is even less if possible as of now.

The devices are just not intresting, you cannot do anything with them.

Actually it was Olli-Pekka who presided over the largest drop of NOKIA stock and it kept sliding downwards when Elop took over. Its all pre-ELOP effect, he was just an agent to sell a highly dysfunctional division.

Actually, you don't know what you're talking about so either STFU or try using actual math with numbers.
