the VERY possible chip only these two :

That MSM8930 SoC has 3 clock speed level: 1.2GHz / 1.4GHz / 1.7GHz, there's no reason to OC it.

MSM8960 has 1.4GHz clock speed level ?

If jolla use MSM8960, it will be disappointing. It just OLD
It is a Krait 1st generation Dual-Core, and it only has an Adreno 225 GPU.

About MSM8930's Clock Speed, that's wrong information on Wikipedia.

You can see my reply :

In fact, Qualcomm has a MSM8930 MDP, it blocked Clock Speed in 1.4GHz as well.

Learn more detail for that MDP plz via (it's in Chinese): http://article.pchome.net/content-1594117-1-2.html

Something else: MSM8930's frist release was a SoC in Snapdragon S4 Plus series (end of 2012),
after Snapdragon 2013 new series announced,
Qualcomm put it in to the Snapdragon 400 series.

i see, then due to LTE, it make sense that this is the highest chance of soc that Jolla might use. very very likely.

It's not the cheapest offer from jolla, but quite remarkable for such a small company. If final specs and build quality is decent, it could appeal to quite a few people.
This was relative to me in australia forgot to mention that. Sadly jolla price will probably get bumped up even more here because of "extra costs".
Maybe jolla might drop the prices down later, then it might be affordable in australia

Trouble is that OLD equates to cheap(er), and it is clear that the Jolla phone is, unsurprisingly, designed to a price point.

Ok what about MicroSD?
Is it going to be compatible with SDHC and SDXC, or it's just going to be the plain old SDSC (4GB max.)?
SDHC supports up to 32 GB max.
SDXC supports up to 2 TB max.
