Can I send fake personal data to Goldelico or the donation will be rejected? I don't like that everyone is asking for my data and nobody is able to keep it safe (vide adobe).

Are these discrete steps or just milestones on a continuous scale?
Just like wolke I think that 1000 units isn't realistic. But since we already have 130 for 590 Euros (according to poll) I think 200 should be doable and even 300 might not be out of the question.

Will that not mean that you loose some possible donations because people will see that the 25k bar is full and apparently nothing more is needed?

Not announcing phase IV doesn't mean not announcing anything at all

I'm sure that when the time comes enough people will assist in making sure that you get a Neo900. Plus @pali and @freemangordon, should they need help. That's like the minimum 3, without meaning any disrespect to all other members of the community, that is

I'll see if I can secretly set up some clandestine donation stash for the times ahead

@joerg_rw,

You've probably already thought about this, but it just came to my mind that even if the main goal of the Neo900 is to be able to run Maemo5, nothing will stop it from running other OSs, including Mer (Sailfish), FirefoxOS, Ubuntu Touch, etc. not to speak about "pure" (non-phone) Linux (I'm with @sulu on this one, I would even go as far as dropping phone support

Perhaps it would be a good idea to try to reach those other communities, which have no own hardware and need to rely on inferior Android stuff without proper keyboard or screen, and tell them that their stuff will run just fine on the Neo900.

(set dramatic tone)
The Neo900 can actually be the missing link, the holy grail (or at least the holy brick , of free smartphone-related software, allowing cool software projects to actually run on something cool.
(unset dramatic tone).

Correct but if I remember something on IRC correctly, then you said that in case 25k was reached there would be a big "thank you to all donors" or something either instead or in addition to the current bar. But again, this tells something along the lines of "we reached our goal and dont need more money".
But maybe you really dont want/need more than 25k for now?

That's the current behavior of the script, but it doesn't mean it has to stay like that

Of course it doesnt have to. So what I'm suggesting is, that it doesnt. What do you (and jörg) think about that?
