I'm pretty sure Swype isn't there at launch, as JollaHQ stated they welcome any port or similar application for that. Perhaps they have their own method, but if they have Swype already, then these tweets are nonsense.

The blinking light in the video is probably proximity sensor. And yes - it is IR. Just point a RCU to your phone camera and you will see similar blinking.

OK thanks for the info. Never saw that.
They could have fixed this in editing/processing as I thought it had something to do with notifications :-)
