Then I guess you could change your shipping address to where you are going to be.

Then your status must update today. Try to change the delivery address if it doesn't, I don't know what happens to FedEx packages if the recipient does not claim it for several weeks.

Change it to another country? I am not able to do it in the webshop.... Does it have to be done via email? Can such a change be trusted on such a short notice?

Don't know but right now you are wasting time not changing address via care Jolla. You just need to hope that they will respond to your mail in time and remember to change the address.

Well, if you know somebody you trust in the same city, you could contact FedEx to redirect any packages sent to your home address. I know it's possible with regular mail, maybe FedEx has this option too. If I were you I'd contact them.

care@jolla.com, right?

edit:
Well, I just sent the email. I hope it will work.
However, if my Jolla leaves today or tomorrow I may be able to get it in Germany. If not, I hope it works with the address change to Spain.

The unclaimed packages will be distributed as christmas gifts for the children of FedEX employees.

I know that after a few months, DHL destroy old packages. Literally taking a sledgehammer to brand new PS3s etc.
