I must say sometimes the community has no respect et all
first we should be happy that jolla allows install on our beloved n9
second thing is those wgo want latest should wait until it has reached those users who bought jolla!
atm the servers are busy rolling out the packages to users as plenty of jollas get timeouts etc. and the fact that b9 users has no patient does not help it.
now thinknl about end users who not are so technical they may very well wonder why theyr phones does not workthink and throw the phone in trash and buy another phone from that big company because it just works.
so ny point is WAIT SOME DAYS so real customers get it first!
or else i would not be suprised if jolla start to block non jolla devices and everyone loose on it :-(

nano /sailfish/etc/shadow # Open the shadow file where Sailfish is mounted On the first line, you will have (where XXXXX are 5 numbers): root:34.random.letters.numbers.and.symbols:XXXXX:0:99999:7::: Now, delete the all letters, numbers and symbols after "root:" and before :XXXXX:0:99999:7::: For example, change: root:$1$00Z6Bfjc$vlIKUOMHIavIABL1gNuy6/:16049:0:99999:7::: into: root::16049:0:99999:7::: Save and exit the file (CTRL+X, Y to save).
