Nope, those on lumia are more detailed! !
If you've not updated your N9 maps in a while, perhaps that's why you're noticing a difference.

Nokia Maps is much better. Here maps lacks on-map bus integration like on MeeGo & symbian. One of the reasons i havent left my n9 yet is because i havent found a comparable app on any other platform

apt-get install --reinstall maps
For the drives app following name has to be used:
nokia-drive-qml
But this will just reinstall the application, not the map data.
