I believe the topic means things not managed by humans, with an emphasis on nature. So Pichlo's photo absolutely falls within but a botanical garden would not.

I was walking around yesterday evening and I took a couple of photos of the sunset/forest/lake. I Didn't know there was a competition so I was lucky to take some photos. And a competition isn't a competition with just one entry. So here's my entry:

it's no where near as beautiful as ostimper's sunset on the water, but i snapped a picture of a robins nest that i stumbled upon while rock climbing earlier today.

Edit: forgot to mention this was shot with an n9!

The turquoise blue of those eggs is stunning..... a lot of mouths to feed down the road.

I urge viewers to click on the picture - really. Those veins are amazing. The small forum image does the photo no justice.

They remind me of an aerial photo of paddyfields.
