I can confirm enter key working on pre-CSSU device. Though with grey chars showing as black (which CSSU fixes) this causes other problems, pictured below: grey menu entries invisible until highlighted, explored dungeon parts (out of view) disappear as never visited.

Installed 0.11 version http://crawl.develz.org/debian/pool/0.11/c/crawl/
(Just unpack armel debs and make symlinks)
Enter works fine. No segmentation faults.

I know it's an old thread but it's the one I found when I searched for crawl. I suppose others will find it too.

I have compiled the latest ASCII version of Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup (v.0.14.1) for my N900. If anyone is interested, the attached archive contains the executable and data files.

- Copy the executable (i.e. crawl) to a location on the device where you can execute it.
- Copy the remaining directories in the archive to /opt/crawl/data/.
- Fire up xterm and start the game.
- Don't be surprised, it takes quite some time to start it for the very first time.

If you get black color for what should be grey, check out https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7164
If the enter key does not work (issue related to xterm), try pressing ctrl-m.

Happy crawling!

EDIT: It was not possible to upload the archive because it was too big. As I haven't used file hosting services before, I tried anonfiles.com for the first time. Let me know if you know a better alternative for anonymous file sharing. Please find the link of the archive below and the md5 checksum attached (just in case).

I find the ASCII version easier on the eyes because the text is bigger but if you want to play the tiles version, I compiled it for you. Installation is the same but you also need to copy the GL and GLU libraries to e.g. /usr/lib or set LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

Checksum of the archive is attached.

Enjoy!
