If you mean you dislike the fact that Jolla the phone and Jolla the company are called one and same, yes, I get your opinion.

But I think that simplicity is actually very nice, in my personal opinion. Usually it is clear from the context which one is which.

Jolla the company is the one without transparency, Jolla the phone is the one with excessive transparency.

Jolla da phone is called jPhone in the street until jolla manage to get it a name we can work with.

Hope jolla will shape up the message for next release.

That is a terrible name alternative, though. Not even excessive transparency could save a phone with that name.

It's not a name it a substitute, like a nickname if you have two friends with exactly the same name.

I do get that it is a substitute for you, yes. I don't see a problem with distinguishing between the company and the phone, though, personally but different strokes for different folks of course.

Perhaps a second edition "Jolla 2" would fix the issue for you, as it would naturally "rename" current Jolla phone to Jolla 1 - or whatever possible numbering scheme there might be.

@pango, there is no reasoning with Davey about this, he has in his mind dubbed the Jolla device with that horrible parody name of the Apple phone line, sad.

I have tried to correct that many times before but he is too stubborn to get it
