I wonder how much **** must pile up before they understand that there is no future for them if they don't address the tablet issue.

The tablet has always been a side-issue for Jolla; as has been mentioned elsewhere, the total income from the tablet has been a magnitude of order less than than the amount provided by a single round of funding.
Saying that the tablet determines Jolla's future is the tail wagging the dog. The future of the tablet has been entirely determined by the funding Jolla has received from its investors; while that funding was coming in, the tablet project (despite various problems) moved ahead steadily. Once that funding disappeared, the tablet project stopped dead. What happens next is, once again, dependent entirely on what Jolla's investors choose to let their money be spent on...

You forget that trust and followers is what a lot of money spent it and tablet is a huge lost in trustworthy and ability to deliver, but moreover the ability to deal with situation and resolve it. If it happens now it can happen again and again and as we see the communication thing is never getting better. Especially in hard situation Jolla always hides and runs away and it is something you would consider before trusting in a company. And today platform is ecosystem and it's not about phone you sell, it's about all the services and application and community. And people consider it when they choose product. Support is very important.
