If it is the North American model what is it doing in Europe?: Was it blacklisted in North America (lost, then found by someone else? stolen?) and so had to be exported?

The big Telcos in Germany (Telekom, Telefonica-O2/Eplus and Vodafone) use all of those three bands:

Band 7 has the highest Bandwith and Band 20 covers the long range outside the cities as it has only 800 Mhz base frequency.
