HELP!!!
For some reason my rss feed reader just stopped reading... Actually it won't even open when I hit the button! I tap the icon, the screen goes blank in antisipation as the notifier does half a rotation, then back to whatever screen it was on before! No bug notice or anything! When I try to open the desktop app for the RSS reader it es the same and dumps all but basic status bar icons!
I haven't made any changes out of the ordinary or added any new feeds recently that could have caused it! I've turned it off for extended periods, removed the battery and I just reflashed it to the latest update in hopes that would correct the problem as well, but no such luck it stiill won't open the RSS reader!
Help me Obie N800...I need your help!

Did you try a re-flash without a restore?

Try the following:
Do not re-storel your back-up after flashing. (as the man said). You now should have an empty but working RSS Reader.

The RSS data are in the back-up directories Documents and Settings. You could re-install the rest.
If you want to re-use the old RSS adresses: locate the RSS data file with the adresses in your last back-up (the second RSS data file contains RSS settings). They are readible as XML files using Windows (Sssst...) Notebook or i.e. Word. Copying into the now empty RSS reader took me only a few minutes.

I want to add that I only once had this RSS problems (26 feeds/ > 200 posts). Not sure what caused it, but I stopped my router possibly during a feed reload. I did not report to Bugzilla.

From hotels etc. I noticed that a good / excellent broadband connection is needed for a FULL RSS reload. With a slow connection you might want to stop and restart loading once or twice.

The RSS reader works fine for me.

Hope this helps you.
Abel.
