Something new on librum website but the problem I'm have with this is that I've yet to see any independent postings about this phone.

Naw.... 2 pieces surely? One for Todd Weaver, the other for Bryan Lunduke

Seriously I shouldn't be too cynical, but it is frustrating to see the news being so tightly managed, even at this late stage. The shipping window for batch Aspen comes to an end in 5 days, after all. Here's hoping for more buzz with batch Birch.

btw I was wrong Linux gamer did NOT get Aspen batch, he just marketed it for free :/

Also a new video:

Then he had to give it back to Todd (he told on the podcast.)

So that makes me wonder if anyone has got it yet?

It's soon November. 2nd batch.......

The modularity is pretty cool.
But he did NOT switch it back on after he dis- and then reassembled it.
Do they take me for an idiot?

If you were paying attention at the end, you will have spotted that he forgot to replace the battery!

ya know, it IS entirely possible that the early adopters of a privacy-centric device are kind of, like, private people

Do at least count (some of) the people on Purism's payroll as all too eager guinea pigs. (Employee count used to be 27, one year ago - if you do believe Wikipedia.)
Pulling off this Librem 5 trick, those should be pretty down to earth folks. (Apart form Todd Weaver and Bryan Lunduke, for sure. )
