Merry Christmas and a Happy New year mscion and endsormeans. Great year! And the best part. I've heard that 2020 will be even better, stronger and more powerful than ever!
I can also report that the garlic eggnog wasn't the best I've ever made. Bad reviews.

Merry Christmass to al!. And is The Da/e?
Almost was the worst. Our 7month old puppy panicked and took of through the fields into the forest in an area 100km away from home and where it was the first time. Area with lynxs and foxes, saw the biggest fox ever seen today when was still searching our puppy. Puppy took off about 3pm when started to get dark and snow on the ground. All day and night searching.
I had slept night before only couple bad hours. Had installed Ubuntu Mate to my wifes brothers Vista machine. He needed pictures from it, he hadn't used the laptop for two years and thne password hint was TO CALL ME! IHe wanted to destroy the machine with axe but I said it will be ok machine (cpu1,5ghz, 4Gb ram). But because he said that he won't anymore use any other device than a one with an apple I had to make a silver apple logo on the lid and install all Mac theme stuff to get him the feel of Mac. Also had to make a lot of tweaks (from "Make Mint faster" posts which has good ones) and ones start all over when I was almost done cause made a mistake without a backup. Went to bed at 3am when two cats woke up and decided it is a good time for starting to mourn and jump on the tables messing with glasses and stuff.
All night me and my wife and some near by people unknown to us helped us on searching with flashlights in a very thick snowy forest. Me untill 2am, wife from 3 to 5, me again at seven. Atlast we got a call from a hunter, a friend of my wifes brother, at 1pm next day who had found small tracks, followed them to an abandoned house and when he whistled two ears came upp underneath the house. It took some time to get the dog out with gentle talk and food.
Small Chinese naked hair dog which is scared of everything, humans and animals. And a mind of it's own. The kennel keeper who grows these dogs said that this one is a particularly own minded character. And these dogs do not have a need to please their owners, a bit like a cat. This one has though hair quite a lot and we have not wanted to trimm it and she had a thick jacket on which helped her over night in the forest. But was a bit cold still.
My feet are hurting a lot and all devastated of the anguish and walking and stress and not sleeping. So glad at the moment though.

I'm so glad you found the dog and sure hope she'll be OK!
I know well that pets and children can cause a lot of grief but when all is well again the joy is at least tripled!
