Conky Works!

I am using x11vnc (which is how I am grabbing these images, on the device it looks perfect, but VNC there is some distortion).

Nice!

You can "apt install scrot" and use scrot from cli (over ssh), or use the Fremantle shortcut to make a screenshot. I think it's ctrl+alt+p or so?

hello, thanx for the great work!
I need some help with the Droid4 modem
- my MaemoLeste doesn't ask for SIM pin (Android does)
- Android reports "This SIM card is from an unknown source." after successfull SIM pin entry. But after a minute or so connectivity is achieved and Android can receive calls and have internet data.
(Android version 4.1.2, Maemo Leste is the latest with all packages updated)

how can I activate modem connectivity under leste (which is my prefered system!!)?

thank you!

Hi!

Really sorry for the late reply.

So I think if you have the -devlel repositories enabled, then, after starting the device, issue:

/etc/init.d/ofono restart

And then run:

startup-pin-entry.launch

I believe then you will see the pin dialog, and the modem should proceed.

The problem is in ofono (it doesn't detect a sim on boot), we're aware of the problem.

I reckon it'll be at least a week before OMP (with Leste qt5 port that is being worked on in parallel) is in a functional state -- but getting there.

Nice. Rockbox and/or Pro1 port for Maemo-Leste when?

How do you invoke conky? Installing doesn't give me a desktop/menu icon for it and invoking from terminal with conky -o doesn't yield me a new window (droid4).

Cheers.

I am 95% sure I stole the conkyrc and moved it to /etc/conky/conky.conf then just opened a terminal and typed 'conky'

This was done on a N900 thou.
