Is there a simple way to add a flash file (online-stopwatch.swf) to the Extras (or any other launch point)? I have currently placed it at the top of the visible tree, "Nokia N810", and can launch it from File Manager but this seems a less elegant way to launch the app.

BTW this is a great little timer and stopwatch flash app.

Single White Females are really hard to add as Extras; most swf's insist that you remove all other options from My Selection and install her there.

Take any maemo deb that adds a shortcut in Extras and there should be a .desktop file inside.

Create one and change the command to the one that will execute the swf (tip: use ps a | grep swf to identify how to run the swf from command line)

Hehe, use pipeline's LinkMaker and make the command something like this:

/usr/bin/browser --url "file:///home/user/MyDocs/online-stopwatch.swf"

There may be a = needed between url and "file

I created a bookmark to one (the analogue clock from mojocafe.net) stored in my home directory. Easily accessible from the main web menu in the left nav.

Well that's ok if you get a good one like mine! (And, of course, one doesn't need an uninstall option either)

I generally find a clean uninstall is impossible anyway. The best you can hope for is to forcibly remove most traces of the original; but some little remnant will always remain to rear it's head at just the wrong moment.
