Hi,

I have an n800 and the divider on my my application manager that divides the application name from the version number seems to keep migrating over to the left chopping out the name of the application in the list.

This didn't seem to be a problem with os2007, but it steadily seems to happen with os2008.

Right now, I've done a complete reinstall with the newest os update, and since last night, the divider has moved over a centimeter left. Prior to the the re-installation of 0s2008 last night, I could only see the first three letters on the package name and had to use the info button which is kind of a pain in the *** to browse dozens of packages.

I'm hoping there's an easy fix that I'm just not seeing, but I can't seem to drag the divider to the right, nor click it to expand it.

See attachment to see how it cuts out - it'll most likely get worse. I'd much rather the divider in the middle or even cut out the version number than cutting out the name.

Thanks.

Basically, the version column expands to fit the fattest version in the list. So, installing repositories with long version numbers, or red-pill mode (which shows a lot more packages, including many with long versions), gives you this problem. Unfortunately, there's nothing to do at the moment except:
  • Don't take the red-pill.
  • Disable any repos with troublesome packages (except to install something from them).
  • Go full-screen (every pixel helps).

From Bugzilla, word is that it's fixed in Diablo.
