There is now
I just compiled those game binaries to make an 'addon' deb installer here :
http://wardenclyffetower.com/MaemoFi...-1.0.0.all.deb
So if you already have the mmc1 or mmc2 version installed, just install the above.
You launch it from xterm (or Personal Menu shortcut), using :
quake2 +set game xatrix
quake2 +set game rogue
To get configuration right, delete any config.cfg files in the rogue and xatrix directories on both mmc and /home/user/.quake2 directory trees and copy the autoexec from /home/user/.quake2/baseq2 to /home/user/.quake2/xatrix (or rogue)
I see full demos and movies and can play game on both xatrix and rogue.
Quake1 supports its two mission packs (already) so if you're thinking about buying Quake2 mission packs now off of steam, you might want to get the whole quake pack for $30. I just did this and the data files are compatible (standard pak's). Or you might try adding 'Non-Steam' game of your existing Quake and Quake2 and see if it lets you get just the mission packs.

I compiled that a long time ago, runs fine except I could never get it to connect to a server. Maybe pipeline could work his magic on it?![]()
