I'm weird. I like things to actually WORK. I leave the software development and beta testing to the geeks. When I spend $400 on something, I expect it to do what it should. If I wanted an experimental door stop, I'd ask for one. Of the 3 things I bought this for, it does none of them particularly well, although it used to do at least 2 of them better. This thing is as raw as fish at the fulton fish market. Inrefined, weakly executed, poorly supported and just not ready for prime time. Probably why I had to drive to another state to buy one and nobody seems to have ever heard of it, let alone provide accessories for it

Let me know if you want to sell your NIT. Since you obviously don't want something so unusable it shouldn't cost me much, right?

So you're posting on the internet right now. Do you know you could have bought it on the internet? You could have saved gas money. You could have paid less than the $400 you spent on a tablet.

Perhaps you need to do more vetting in the purchases you make in the future.

Tried that, but since some apps work only in Diablo, and some only in Chinook, it caused more problems then it resolved. You know, there's some nice features of the NIT. The inexpensively replaced battery, the MM card, though I can NOT for the life of me, figure out what genius came up with the idea to use a Mini card instead of a regular SD card. It's like for every good idea, someone had them around the balls and choked something stupid out of them. Oh, and don't lose a stylus!

I had some Best Buy bucks to use, so I bought it there. Not ONE of their stores in my area carried it, and nobody else does. Could've gotten it from Amazon, but it would've cost more, and I wanted the ability to see it and return it if possible. It actually worked better when I first got it then now

Can I ask what is fundamentally wrong with Vista? When XP came out, everyone was acting the same way! I have had less blue screens with Vista than XP, BETTER plug and pray support, and more features. You can disable UAC, so it is not annoying, etc etc...

Anyway, if you don't like it, why have you not returned it or sold it? That is what I don't understand. I don't like somethings about the N810 also, mostly the lack of programs with a good tablet UI and stable programs. But, I don't rant about it, and if I really felt like that, I would sell it and buy an iPod touch or and Archos.

Also, if no one has ever heard of it (ok, no one HAS heard of it except like GEEKS and NERDS), and there are no accessories (not really true), then would it not make sense that there is no strong commercial development, or that Nokia does not really care THAT much? Its a trade off, buy a commercial system that limits you (i.e. iPhone), or buy a niche device with less suport (i.e. N810).

Yea, its 400 bucks. I think it was too expensive, but you buy what you buy. I expected the tablet to be much faster/better, but the reality is that it is not... And I am still happy.
