If the PS3 works with a standard BT keyboard, this should work.

(BTW, VDVsx, here's another user looking forward to the release!)

would it also work as a keyboard for an S60 phone? there's an option to connect to BT-keyboards on it. would be cool for text messages.

It says it uses the Bluetooth HID profile and I cannot see the S60 phone not using it

it didn't work with xkbd-bthid when i tried some months ago; that's why i'm wondering. still, this could have been a problem with xkbd-bthid rather than with my phone. curious to see what we'll get here...

I don't think xkbd-bthid has worked for anyone on a tablet.

xkbd-bthid was rather limited due to only supporting a subset of the BT HID specification; as I recall, it would work on Linux (which supported either that basic version, or the full version) but not on Windows (which only supported the full version). Since this works with Windows, I think it's fairly safe to assume it'll work with anything.

Guess we'll find out, though.

Oh, and Faheem: it worked for me, once, way back when... (OS2007)

Fair enough Benson

Hehe, I'll probably be able to replace my Sony Ericsson with this (the "remote control" feature of SE phones is proper hid )

This doesn't work with the BT-keyboard app for S60 provided by Nokia, I don't know if exist other similar apps to connect bluetooth keyboards for S60 phones.

I too am really looking forward to a first release of this. I was intending to use my old 770 as a VNC or rdesktop client to control my multimedia living room computer, but this would be even better!
