Well, yes, there's that too. On the bright side, they yell at potential customers in their FAQ. I wouldn't give them a dime, but their FAQ warmed my heart.

Thanks for the link!

That made for an enlightening read

I should really know better by now: "...too good to be true...." and all that.

quick question about the value laptop site. Does any one know of any one who has received the product purchased? Is it possible that they are just really slow? I really want a tablet PC and that is the first one ever I have seen that I could buy, Im willing to wait if their just slow. Is it worth the risk?

In the end, it's your money. There's always the off chance that the person behind ValuedLaptop might accidentally knock his or her own notebook computer off a table and in to a box accidentally addressed to you, but I recommend considering what Google has to say on the matter.

I'll toss some cash in the pot -- $50 (USD) via paypal into the laptop donor's account, once lcuk affirms that he has received it and it is in satisfactory working order.

They die horrible horrible deaths, only to be reawaken a year later by a Viagra ad. This is the way of life. Hopefully that new touchscreen will mean more liqbase!
