Albums in "By Album" and "By Artist" are recognized by the ID tags on the file. In "By Folder", a folder containing audio files is considered an album.

Last two SVN releases , nothing in the screens is expanding. In Album view, the display is stuck at "Retrieving..." . In folder browser, the display is again stuck at ""Retrieving..." . What did I break ??

Understood, the strange thing is that UKMP recognizes them and downloads all the cover art, but MediaBox does not. Out of over 150 songs only 2 albums are recognized. Everything else I have to browse via folders. I inspected the ID3 tags with iTunes and Musorg 3.0 Id3 tag editor and the tag info appears in tact. Maybe my MediaBox info is corrupt?

Thanks for the great update. I just have one issue.

I am using Orb as my UPnP server and MediaBox sees the shares just fine, but when I go to the Music folder there are 0 items displayed. The UPnP shares are working fine in Canola. Is something else needed to enable UPnP?

Does
Code:
MediaBox -vvv
reveal anything?

Most likely MediaBox doesn't recognize the files that ORB is listing as music.
Can you please run
Code:
MediaBox -vvv >/media/mmc1/debug.log
in X-Terminal and try to browse the ORB server and attach the resulting debug.log file here? This will help me getting MediaBox work together with ORB.

It appears that ORB interprets a request with RequestedCount of 0 as to return 0 entries. The UPnP spec for ContentDirectory states that RequestedCount of 0 should be interpreted as to return all entries.
I guess I have to use a very high number for RequestCount instead of using 0 in MediaBox from now on.

Isn't it great when all implementations of a common specification interpret the same specification differently?

About the problem I had reported - a rm -rf and then re-download from SVN fixed the problem - thanks

MediaBox is displaying icons for albums I've removed (among my other album display issues). I must have some sort of db issue. Is there a way to clean up Mediabox and get it to rebuild the music list?
