Anyone tried it? Currently, new version of Facebook looks badly on the built-in maemo browser, doesn't support lots of functions, like notifications, chat, video vieweing, etc.

Anyone can help clarifying?

On my N810, Facebook looks virtually identical to how it does on my desktop browsers. What specific differences do you see?

...doesn't support lots of functions, like notifications...
The little tap-to-open-the-pop-up-window notification widget in the bottom right works. Is that not what you mean?

...chat...
I've disabled chat in my Facebook account, so I can't speak to this.

...video vieweing...
I'm fairly certain I've watched posted video clips within Facebook using my tablet. It's just Flash video, so it should work.
EDIT: Facebook now appears to be checking for a newer version of the Flash plug-in than we have on the tablets.

You know what, you are right. Only flash videos wouldn't work...

I saw the announcement, but it's closed source, so I haven't been eager to try it.

Had some lib incompatibilities when I tried, but others have been able to get it to work.
