No one ever shows you how the N810 fits in their case. I want to see things like how the case holds the device and how well it fits in your pocket. Does it come with a (removable?)belt clip?

If you mean the one that comes with it, IMHO it's worthless. It's grippier than the N800 one even on a stock N810, and once you put an extended battery cover on, it's too tight to use at all. Maybe with a belt loop (or very secure clip) you could use it that way, but I prefer my belt pouch to be more free-fitting, with a clasped lid. (Check briand's thread if you wanna pick up some decent belt cases; I've got some, and they're great for the N810, and quite decent for the N800.)

Well I just ordered my n810 today. I need to play with it before I decide how to carry it. I like the look of the flip cases w/memory card holders and removable beltclips but i want to see how big the pocket bulge is w/ various case styles

lol. I like my n810 so much, I just ordered a second one. Still haven't figured out the best way to carry the first one, save for in it's OEM holder. I need to find a good hip holder (vertical, not horizontal like most people like) for it. Oddly, I might have one, but I haven't been able to bring myself to buy it yet. Go figure.

In my case (no pun intended), i found that I take a two-prong approach. The OEM case is my "tactical" case, and I have a larger case that I found at wal mart, an oversized one for a portable hard drive, that I use for my NIT, bluetooth keyboard, extra batteries, USB cable, headphones and the like. Unfortunately, I would prefer having pockets that I could stick the accoutriments in instead of having them float free in the main case. I am still searching, but so far, no luck.

I can post pics if you would like.

Well, this stuff is so much a matter of taste...

but my personal solution is to use an oversize vertical cellphone beltclip case, carrying the otherwise unsheathed unit -- which makes it much easier to put it in my (freshly acquired) car mount.

The car mount is from Radio Shack -- that photo doesn't do it justice; it's quite nice, and has hollow end-arms so you can plug in power and audio while it's in the mount -- if your car has a shallower windshield than mine, you might need their other model with the long gooseneck.

The belt holster doesn't appear to be on Home Despot's website anymore; the relentless march of miniaturization has reduced the market for "large" cellphone holsters, but I *think* this one might be big enough. I previously had one large enough to also carry my irxon BT keyboard, but while that was a Pretty Neat *sounding* Idea, in practice it made the unit enough harder to get out of the holster that I've given up on it.

I havta tell you, the best I have seen was the Nokia "wrap" they sold for the n800. I used that and carried it in a pocket all the time, it protected the screen and made it easier to hold on to. However since you asked about the N810, I have been using the OEM case for that because:
1) one of the BIG advantages of the N810 over the N800 is how small and thin it is. putting a big wrap-around leather case with card holders and a big closure strap makes it SO large it no longer fits in a pocket, if I have to carry something around with me I might as well carry my Fujijtsu U810 (810 must be the universal small computer id number) which is in a case not much larger than the N810 cases I have seen.
2) anything else small enough to take the place of the OEM case will be essentially the same thing with the exception of costing more.

I wish nokia would make one of those magnetic wraps for the n810, yeah I know the slide up screen is an issue, but with the wrap, it is already out of the way when you slide it up.
