Dear all,

how can I specify for the outgoing mail server (SMTP) different user+login than for the incoming IMAP? For some reason I can see my login data, but it is grey (can't change it).

I have to use an outgoing SMTP from another provider with login-data that (of course) is different from the one for the incoming server. I could set up a "connection specific" SMTP, but then I would have to do that for every Wi-Fi-network I access.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Have you tried setting "Use secure authentication" in the "Outgoing" tab to "Login"?

Thank you so much! I didn't expect to find the option to set up a username under "secure authentication".
I chose "Login" from "secure authentication". Now it works.
