I think the alsa 770 driver in the omap kernel doesn't work... DSP only I think.

There's a lot of interest in Mer ... but not a huge amount of volunteers yet.
By far the best way to get involved is to pop into #mer on freenode and chat there. wazd is a good guy to grab on the gui side.

I did not understand yet ... wi-fi works on the Nokia 770 with some version of mer? if not, why?
* Input control panel needs to be able to adjust N810 HW keyboard
* Slight problem when altering statusbar applets causing them to shift.
* Ability to generate full FIASCO images with initfs, wifi firmware and closed source DSP tasks (blockers are #3373 and practical issues we're working on), which means out of box wifi, sound, etc.
* Missing icons (See #4649, we can't use SDK icons)
* Need to have a proper event daemon that will work all the time and actually have some of the Diablo behaviours regarding HIM and such.
* Automounting.
