Quim, did you see my email regarding the trip? Specifically, will it be possible for US attendees to make it to the co-creation session on the 8th.

Is there a dead line when we'll know whether or not we get sponsorship? I'm just asking as October is slowly approaching and plans have to be made...

The first batch of acceptance emails will go out this evening, informing you of the actions to take to sort your travel arrangements.

I saw it and actually I'm pretty sure I answered it saying that I'm not deciding anything about Summit or co-creation sponsored participants.

Quim, that post was placed some time before your response.

I'm just trying to get an answer, though, and don't care where it comes from...

EDIT: sorry if that came across as hostile... that's not intended.

No they won't. Despite working earlier, I'm now getting "500 Server Error: Incomplete Request".

So I'm going to bed instead. However, tonight's not been a total Maemo bust: python-twitter is on its way to extras-devel, though I still haven't got an app name. "Bue" perhaps?

Thanks for the notification, Jaffa. My email server (1and1.com) offers that up at the worst possible times as well.

On another note... if I understand correctly that sponsored attendees have rooms for the 8th, 9th and 10th, and the co-create session is the morning of the 8th, then something should be workable for most if not all of us. I would need to fly out of Dallas Thursday morning some time, which shouldn't be an issue, right? And it should be even easier for EU participants...

Please update Maemo Summit 2009 Wiki pages.

For example, the main page [1] says that "Can you sponsor my travel/accommodation? No idea since we don't know you (or do we? ) --" The travel page suggests to read this thread. However, it is not easy to find relevant information from a long thread.

My colleague got an acceptance email, but I have not, although there is an entry in the list of participants [2] telling that my request is also accepted. I can wait, no problem. Really! But if there is some kind of error, or an email has got lost, it may cause other issues. If there just were relevant information in the Wiki, I could deduce the status and not to ask it here...

So, please, try to keep Wiki up-to-date. Thanks!

Henrik:

I'm sure the wiki is correct and you're sponsored. You should have gotten an e-mail. Check your junk mail folder and alternate e-mail addresses.

What specifically is missing from the Wiki?

I also didn't received any e-mail about that.
