Was checking out symbian-freak.com and saw an interesting improvement to the shareonline client. witch adds facebook, youtube, and twitter. http://furtiv.mobi. Are there any s60 users who used share online? Would you want to see it on maemo, whats the equivalent already on maemo.

"Disclaimer: This is a beta solution for demonstration purposes. Please visit furtiv.com for more information. furtiv reserves the right to discontinue this solution at any time. "

The above sentence from the web site you linked to does not particularly inspire a lot of confidence.

yeah i know but ive been using it and haven't ran into any issues. I was actually trying to present shareonline as an option for maemo. And was wondering if it could be ported. NOKIA HAS BEEN VERY NEGLECTFUL OF IT. I JUST THE MAEMO COMMUNITY COULD TAKE THIS AND RUN WITH IT.

PixelPipe will have an N900 client, which does a similiar service, but proxies everything. I know the Furtive guys, and if people think it is interesting for the N900, I can ping them.

i actually like the fact that furtiv lets u list all the services seperatejy. pixilepipe forces you to upload to all your services at once on symbian. unless that will change on maemo.

actually, with Pixelpipe, if you add a routing tag, you can upload to a specific service - for example, add a tag of @twitter to upload only to twitter. This works well on the N900 ...

By default, the N900 supports sharing with Flickr, Facebook and Ovi. The PixelPipe client is already released to those with N900s and works extremely well and just as integrated as the rest.
