Search the forums for The One Ring. Its a project I'm trying to get time to work on to do just that.

I'm just going to throw this out there.

Is there a way to pretty up the mobile site of GV using CSS editing or configuring browser user-agents so that this page
https://www.google.com/voice/m

looks more like this?
http://mail.google.com/mail/x/gdlakb-/gp/

Hopefully one of you monkeys might know.

They keep things simple to allow for phones with web access but small screens and minimal browsers. Our browser is really of desktop quality and we have the big screen. I believe you can use Greasemonkey scripts to change the appearance. This capability is available on the N8x0 when you install "greasemonkey-webaddon". It has a GUI interface on the tablet.

Okay, I set my browser preferences to have web pages display as if I were using an iPhone.

I went to Google Voice and the difference was unremarkable.

Oh well, I guess it was at least worth the try.

As ashamed as I am to say this, but there's several other webpages that look pretty slick by having the browser changed to the iPhone settings.

@Epage, do you need some help with the UI, I'd love to contribute. Let me know, thanks.

if you'd like to help here are the areas I'd suggest, (mostly) prioritized
Do you have any other thoughts of things you'd like to do?

Actually, I meant more of the design side, do you need any elements (buttons/layout etc) designed? I can design elements/icons/layouts for you.
