Have you tried setting the number of hours to show in the single day view to 1 or 2?

Stand-alone. It will probably not be apparent why with the initial version of the todo app, but I have some ideas for this that just won't work without making a clean break. It will still sync, of course, but not everything will translate to the upstream server.

Thanks, trollo, for making this. I really like having a recorder that works. (It seems to me that the recorder could be a separately installable little application. Your app works for me; Maemo Recorder doesn't.)

And I like the calendar overall.

A couple bugs:

(1) The home/desktop applet seems to take over the desktop: if the Seqretary reminder window is present, I can see -- but I can't access -- my other desktop applets. The other applets become like background windows and do not respond to being clicked on.

(2) The calendar seems incapable of keeping recurring appointments that I make in it. I have tried to set an appointment that recurs the fourth Monday of every month; but once I've OK'd what I've done with that appointment, it doesn't show up for future months. When I go back to edit the appointment, it doesn't show that I'd set it up for recurrences at all.

gerald, i have the applet sized so it's between my other applets, long and narrow. you can resize it in the lower right hand corner. it's not transparent like you seem to suggest(?). also, weekly and biweekly events show up for me.

Thanks for that reply. After a reboot, and disabling and re-enabling the desktop applet, all the bugs I reported are gone, including the problem with recurring events.

Fair enough. Given your work so far, I'll trust you on that

On a side note, do you have any UI mockups you could share for the yet-to-be-released apps? I'm a bit curious about what you have in development.

It doesn't show up in App Manager for me. The kawseq repository says that it fails to refresh -- is there a different repos that I should be using? I have all the usual ones.

When I try the green download arrow, I end up downloading a file called "?get_installfile" and then I get a syntax error because of the "?".

I think I've tried just about every Maemo app available for my N810, but I can't get this one to install.

Yeah! Finally! I'm saving this link for future updates. I couldn't find it going to the Kawseq website, and couldn't ever get it installed from Maemo.org or the App Manager.

I really want my N810 to eventually replace my PDA part of my Palm Treo phone, so a PIM app is of great interest to me. Thanks for this, Trollo!

Arghh! I've been using the calendar for a couple months now, but suddenly after notification of an upgrade, its showing the time on the left column (1 or 5 day view) to be one hour earlier than clock time and the events are shifted an hour. When I use edit to open an event, the time is correct. Viewing About shows version 0.92.6. Any ideas?

Edit, to hopefully clarify, I see this:

07:00
----------- (actual current time is 08:30 but current time line 07:30)
08:00 Event (time set to 09:00 but shows in view as 08:00)
09:00
10:00
