It's nice to see that Nokia doesn't stick with only one carrier... unlike a certain competitor.

Don't except the N900 for AT&T, though.

Anyway, this is good publicity for the N900 (read the whole news).

unerlated to the n900, if nokia starts producing something like the e72 with a CDMA radio for sprint and verizon, I think the analysts predictions of doubling market share in the US, taking mostly from RIM, is definitely possible.

The news itself isn't related to the N900, but the fact that the N900 gets mentioned in almost each article about Nokia does say something about its popularity and demand. That's also why I posted it. It was clearly underestimated, and now they have to pay for it, thus the delay.

And yeah, the E72 should be able to grab some share from RIM.

I like much of Nokia's design. Nothing so much as the beauty of the N800, but that's just my taste.

And in the same way, much of Apple's design isn't my taste either. I don't like the wide, shallow, square keys of their keyboards, I'm not a fan of the smooth-and-sleek look, either.

If you argue with me and say that Apple's design is superior in so many ways, I'll say, OK, if you say so, but I'm not a fan.

I guess part of the problem is that I hate the design of all laptops. I thought they were somewhat cool in the mid 90s, but I really feel that the laptop (and the netbook, and all other laptop variants) needs to just go away as a product category. It is a terrible kludgy hack solution and kudos to Apple for trying, but you just can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

Whoa, sorry. Offtopic.
