If Pidgin is open source, could you possibly be able to look at that part of code, Epage?
Mauku is another program with a type-in box - but where the screen 'follows along' if you type a long row.

That would be a great comment to make in the bug report

Just to double check, you are saying Mauku has the same bug as Dialcentral?

Sorry no.

When typing a row that is longer than the displayed type-in-box:
- Mauku 'follows along' showing the text as you type, scrolling to the right,
- DC doesn't 'follow along' and you end up typing without seeing what you type (unless you manually scroll to the right).

Wow. I got no love for my custom icon for Dial Central on the previous page.

I created that with 10 seconds of feverish creativity.

I deserve more respect than this.

I assumed the 10 seconds included taking the screenshot and saving it - leaving 2 secs for the creative drawing

I just got a report from Texrat that he isn't able to make calls with 1.0.7-14. Has anyone else seen this?

I can dial out and receive phone calls just fine.

That's beside the point.

I had this problem on an earlier version (reported somewhere in this thread) and epage corrected it very soon afterward. Maybe this is a regression issue?
