I just came from the Nokia Store on Regent Street. They told me that:

* staff training is on 16 November
* they expect to start selling on the 17th of November
* they have a TWO WEEK exlusive in the UK, and that other retailers will not have it until the beginning of December.

They are taking 100 pre-orders in store. I just got number 99.

The 9th is most likely the date for preorders to ship. This has been covered earlier in the thread, I think.

I don't think that they will answer, but I believe that they read it and take care of it.

so thats exclusive in the UK, so just other retailers in the UK wont get it till Dec, right? The US should have it the same time?

That's really dumb. Another Nokia release where customers don't understand why it's available in some places but not others. They'll have to buy it on ebay at a premium.
