There is one part that is not a joke: some people worked really hard reporting bugs and helping to fix them during the Fremantle development phase. They did the work regardless on whether those bugfixes will eventually benefit N8*0 users or not.

The idea of distributing Fixed in Fremantle shirts came indeed as a joke at some point by someone maybe a year ago, or something like that. Then most people forgot about it but just a few... that decided to push the joke forward.

It is still unclear whether those bugfixes will end up applied to N8*0 hardware, we'll see. What is clear is that without the work of these bugsquatters the chances of even get them fixed for Fremantle would have been smaller.

Now, about the karma rankings. They have something to consider:

They carry the whole history. If you have been following bugzilla in 2009 you will realize that some names haven't been that active, or even not active at all, while other active contributors have been active but haven't accummulated enough karma to show up there.

Negative perhaps but not a personal attack like your comment.

Maybe something like this...
Yeah I read that after I posted...

As far as the list goes. I wasn't very clear. I meant a list of bugs in Diablo that are fixed in Fremantle but remain bugs in Diablo. Either that or I am not reading it correctly.

Advanced search is your friend.

Is there a reason for this?

If no one has compiled a list just say so. It won't hurt my feelings none.

If my "friend" advanced search can show me bugs that are fixed in fremantle AND are not fixed in Diablo that would be nice... but I don't see how. I don't even see how my "friend" can even give me confidence that I would not duplicate or miss items all together if I did seperate searches and compared the returns to compile my own list or used the query you provided.
Only the 200 most relevant bugs are shown.
Now before this thread turns into some sort of contest that you feel you must win... I only asked a simple question:
can someone post a link to a list of Diablo bugs that are actualy "FIXED in Fremantle" please
I clarified this request in a subsequent post:
As far as the list goes. I wasn't very clear. I meant a list of bugs in Diablo that are fixed in Fremantle but remain bugs in Diablo. Either that or I am not reading it correctly.
Like I said. If the answer is "No, no such list exists." fine.

I have no idea if the search query you linked will give me the results I requested >> http://bugs.maemo.org/buglist.cgi?qu...solution=FIXED

The table it returns ain't all that descriptive as the fields can not be expanded in HTML.

BTW Quim, the shirts are a fine idea... I'm sorry if my question to help me understand some of the context has created a stir...

EDIT: A better place to continue this discussion >> http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...008#post372008

Thanks, but this is for bug reporting and I didn't report that many bugs.

I'll second Andre Klapper getting one, if he doesn't already have one. He does a huge amount of high-quality bug triage.

Personally, as someone who got an N800 with the developer device discount, and reported a handful of bugs that ended up "fixed in fremantle", I find the idea of these shirts hilarious. Nobody who sees someone wearing one will get the joke, but who knows, explaining it (and showing off the "fremantle" in question) might make for a few new Maemo users.

(And, in the spirit of Bugzilla's bug workflow, the release of the N900 means those bugs should now get marked VERIFIED AWESOME. )
