That sounds like a job for Zenity. I have been looking into that and I think it is either in diablo or easy to port to fremantle. I will look again and see if we can bring that in since it is such an easy way to give your script / program a GUI.

I would really like that, interfacing virtually any script with easy-to-use dialog boxes is unbelievably useful. It might simplify things like the command line sharing plugin as well

I believe qwerty12 and/or timeless have both experimented with Zenity on Fremantle. Might be worth touching base.
