Once again, no. maemo.org is run by the community, not Nokia.

Yes, that's what I thought, which is why I was questioning whoever it was that criticised Nokia for this problem.

Thanks. So as maemo.org is us, the community, who's actually paying their wages?

Let me just make clear to people who think I am shooting off my mouth. The last update to the packages file for Diablo extras-devel was 10 days ago. The site for upload by developers has been down for 10 days.
On Nov 10 I emailed the maemo-developers mail list assuming it was my problem. Others responded saying they had the same problem. I sent in a bugzilla report on Nov 11. On Nov 12 I posted a message to an existing thread on this developers forum asking for a status. I followed up with another email to maemo-developers Nov 13 asking for someone to fix this. I even emailed a person from Nokia at their garage email who I see on this site all the time and never got a response.
I don't see how you can think of me being anything but frustrated. I have developed 2 apps for Diablo: otrplayer and Can Mileage Calculator. I have ported 2 other apps to Diablo: madplay and mp3splt. I am currently porting eboard from OS2007 to Diablo and working on a new app called NIT Converter a units converter for Diablo. I don't ask for pay or complements but I do ask for a site that works. I do this for fun and when it is no longer fun I will move on to Android, iphone, the new Linux tablet from China, or one of the other new interesting projects coming out.

Nokia. Or the companies which Nokia has contracted to manage maemo.org

As someone who is anxiously awaiting many of these new packages, especially from Bruce, this couldn't happen at a worse time.

Hopefully this will be resolved by tomorrow.

I'd hate for someone with real talent like Bruce to give up programming for us because of something as silly as this.

AbiWord 2.8.1-1ea3 for Diablo, successfully built and apparently queued for entry into the repo, but it has not gone in yet:

Latest version available is 2.7.6-0hub3:

Illumination has been uploaded and sucessfully build. I goit a mail stating the build. Nothing appeared in the extras-devel repository. I uploaded it again, it build again and I got again the mail... This in fact is already a bug since it should be possible to upload and successfully build a package twice witht he same version number.

Nevertheless it still does not appear in extras devel.

Please try to regulary update us about your findings (here and/or in maemo-devel mailing list).

Why both bugs about this are still "unconfirmed"?

Probably because no one with the right permission bits to change the status is in position to test (eg having packages in extras-devel). Hint: it only takes 3 votes to get the bug confirmed "by popular vote" anyway :-)

It appears that a long-running process and perhaps even a cron job failed on garage.

I had to do some file manipulation, hack some code and re-start a script, but hopefully we should all see the packages showing up in the repository now.

Please, if someone would test that there packages are there, it would be great. I'll keep an eye on this until things have settled and we are sure they are working normally.
