Soooo agree with you draco.bdn on that one. They have quoted 25.11 and they are going to stick with it even if the phones are there sitting and collecting dust! If France, The Netherlands and Poland are getting shipping orders, sure as hell know we would also!

Depends on how long the line is.. I don't know myself so I just kept my pre-order at Newegg and placed an additional one at Amazon (and plan on canceling the one that would arrive second).

Amazon doesnt ship the n900 of out the US

Okay i just called chicago nokia flagship store and talk to Marge and ask about the status on the n900, she said any day now... She offered to put me on the list which i'm already on and said there's alot of people on the list and i ask her how many but she didn't really give me a responds. Come on NY already has some available how long can it take to chicago to get a piece of the pie?

Funny tho i thought when shipment comes in from asia i figured it'll ship from the west coast to east coast... I may also be completely wrong since i don't know anything about shipping. But then again alot of other countries closer to Korean hasn't received it also.

Well, $50.00 is $50.00, so I did it. Probably wont see the device for some time now (sigh), but I waited this long so what's another month or so. And even went with the free "super saver" shipping. Deep down I am optimistically thinking that Amazon will get enough inventory for initial demand and I'll squeak in some how.

I did the same tournstone, figure at the price Amazon has it with the rebate, it's worth an extra month if need be. I think we'll be pleasantly surprised next week though, I've got a feeling* they'll have enough to satisfy demand.

*Just a gut feeling...could be hunger pains though. :P

Ditto for me. I didn't reorder because I have some travel plans and would like to have the n900 as soon as possible. If it looks like that's not going to work out, because Amazon doesn't start shipping soon, I can always cancel and re-order later. Of course, that's assuming Amazon doesn't once again hike the price between now and then.

Very true onestop, I was/am quite concerned about another price hike and I know with the order in, they will lower it if they lower the price, but not raise it with an increase. I seriously doubt any new rebate(s) will be introduced and we have 'till the end of Dec. to place an order to take advantage of this one.
