I just picked up my N900. Price at $569 (had $58 in tax on it). I was on the waiting list--I did not pre-order. The guy said I was not the first, but in the top few to receive it. I got a call today at 2 asking me if I was interested--and--if I was--to come in before closing time. I got there at 3:30 and am home now at 4:10 PM. The unit is charging right now.

Here is a pic from my N95 while at the store.

A couple more pics to follow.

By the way: they were getting a ton of calls. I heard one of the Nokia staff tell someone that they were fulfilling their waiting list and then would start to sell the N900 tomorrow with whatever they had left in stock.

If i just could i would have already bought it with that price. And actually it is like 160 euros cheaper than here. Nokia have figured out long time ago already that we will buy anything Nokia branded no matter what the price in here.... and they are mostly right

So why is Nokia selling n900s in store before fufilling nokiausa preorders? o.O

I can understand not fufilling 3rd party retailers preorders before you start selling them but why not your own preorders.

The clerk gave me an rebate form good for a $50 Visa gift card that I could redeem once I registered with the Ovi Store. The same form that is on line (as seen on the Amazon site).

I called in to ask where I was on the waitlist. He just told me to come in and I inquired if the Mag Mile Lights Festival 15% off offer will apply and he said yes.

$533.22 (not sure if this included tax, ill find out in a few hours)
