I see it listed on Buy.com for $200.

Looks possibly intriguing.. but the details seem pretty fuzzy. Does anyone else have more info.. like the OS? Is it something that could run MER?

thanks folks

I also enjoyed: "Touch screen makes you enjoy your operation". What I didn't enjoy was the statement about the "built-in battery" that allows "up to two hours play". I suppose "built-in" means that the user is out of luck when some months later the battery only a moment or two of charge - and can't be replaced.

From my experience as a 34-year-old gadget fancier, I suspect the "up to two hours play" means a half-hour of internet use with WIFI on and somewhat more than an hour when the unit plays MP3s with the monitor backlight all the way down (or off). Why bother making it sleek and portable when there's no benefit in transporting it away from the wall electricity plug? Ever hear of the Clarion MIND? It was really slick on paper but sold so poorly that its price plummeted from $500-700 all the way down to $150 a few months into its life cycle. Its problem was a battery life comparable to this one.
