Hi all,
I live in Egypt, and i am planning to buy the n900. A friend of mine was supposed to get me one from Dubai but unfortunately he won't be able to. So i decided to buy it online as it is not released yet here in Egypt (I don't expect it to be here any time soon). I found it availble on Amazon (USA) with a very reasonable price (Link), but i was asking if there is any differences between the U.S version and other versions (Europe, Middle east .. etc). I have checked the supported frequencies and it is compatible with the GSM frequency used here in Egypt, but i wanted to make sure.
Thanks in advance

This has been answered before - but its one phone to rule them all - frequency is same across continents.

With one exception: the US version lacks the WiFi 12-13 bands.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter and it the same.

Just set the wifi to range 1-12 then

I set my Router to 11 anyway. There is no point of going 13 since it doesn't make any different

Beside that the hardware inside the device is the same. Which can be fix by a patch or something to enable or tweak to enable it to 13 not out of the question here
